“My one word for you is “Courageous” . I thought of many others (dynamic, innovator, visionary, etc.), but the one word that I kept coming back to was Courage. I really admire the fact that you started your company with an idea that others said would not work, kept it going when others were critical, and stayed the course and didn’t sell when you had not yet finished your mission – a mission that really helps every-day people. This, I think, takes moral courage every single day.
This made my think of a quote that has been very meaningful to me over the years. President Teddy Roosevelt said this in a speech over 100 years ago. I learned about it years ago and it really spoke to me. I think that it may speak to you also. I totally understand how difficult it can be to have the weight of the company on your shoulders, especially when the course is not always completely clear at the start…………..So the credit goes to you, the man in the arena……
